dg Hatch, unlike most flute makers, makes his flutes in one solid bore body. He makes them in D, Eb, E, F, F#, G, Ab, A, Bb, B, C keys using different woods like black walnut, claro walnut, redwood, Port Orford cedar, rosewood(s), blackwood, myrtle wood, cascara, bocote, all kinds of maple, spruce, aromatic cedar or Eastern red cedar, Western cedar, mahagony, purple heart, cherry, ebony, and more, providing a wide range of tone qualities. 

Dennis also occasionally makes flute blocks out of quartz, elk and deer antler, with sterling silver pieces inlay or wooden carved animals effigies...
