A window into the artist's life... (Click on this image to open this gallery and then, zoom below the pictures.):
Dennis "dg" hatch, member of the Sault-Ste-Marie Chipewa tribe in Michigan's Upper Peninsula has been making flutes for more that 20 years...
His "inventor's mind" is always trying to figure out new innovative ways to create the best sounding and most precise instruments, and to bring the Native Flute to its best craftmanship to improve its possibilities. This is also why his flutes are the number one choice for professional musicians. To find technical information and details about his flutes go to the News & info menu and click on the "About FLUTES from the maker" page.
He plays in concert with his wife Shendaehwas Nathalie Picard in different venues in USA and Canada, and has toured in different cities of France in Europe.
dg also like to sculpt wood and clay and has discovered a new passion for painting. You can see more of his work in the other galleries.
